Paul Sparkes is an accomplished business leader and Senior Executive with over 25 years experience in Finance, Advisory, Capital markets, Media and Canada’s political arena.
Paul spent a decade as a leader and senior executive in the media industry as executive vp corporate affairs for CTV Globemedia ( now Bell media ) before co founding a TSX listed specialty finance company and merchant bank in 2012.
Prior to joining Bell Canada in 2001 as a senior executive to one of its divisions Sparkes held high level positions in the public service, including with the government of Canada and the government of Newfoundland and Labrador. From 1996-2001, he served in the Prime Ministers office as director of Operations and special assistant for Atlantic Canada.
Through his vast global network and career Sparkes has financed, sourced deals and capital in excess of $500 million throughout Europe and North America in many sectors including, infrastructure, real estate, transportation, healthcare, bio technology, media , technology and power generation.
Andrew is the founder of Emaoifrob and specialises in investments in property and technology. Andrew is an Engineer and Project Manager, he was a director of one of Ireland’s largest Construction and Development companies for fifteen years prior to spending eight years as a director of Parma, Ireland’s largest family office.
In 2014, Andrew left Parma to focus on his own business and has focused on developing international business partnerships facilitating a number of high profile investment and infrastructure projects. Andrew has also built with his partners one of Irelands largest social and affordable housing companies with over 2000 units under development. Andrew served for five years for the Irish Government as the Chairman of the Institute of Technology Sector and has developed deep and enduring relationships with the Irish public sector to the highest level.
Over 25 years, Andrew has built trust with all sectors of Irish and international business and advised many of Ireland’s largest private companies and government agencies on asset management and acquisition.
